The quote below speaks of new beginnings. Our hearts resonate and it makes sense for those who are broken and hurting – it gives hope, the realization that the future does not have to look like the past. The same holds true in our lives. The Lord is continually shaping and molding us – transforming us within to be more like Jesus.
I have been reminded lately to pay attention to His still small voice. While speaking to a group of women, I read a verse in one of my power point slides and the Lord got my attention – “give thanks” – a reminder to thank Him for what is and not focus on what isn’t. Thank Him for what He has done and don’t grumble about what He hasn’t done.
I was in another meeting yesterday and a friend/mentor told me her story of the Lord meeting her in church and revealing a hidden thing in her heart. She turned to Him again and there was further release and healing.
May the Lord have our ears – attentive to His voice and willing to act on what He says or uncovers.
He is kind and gentle and disciplines us for our own good and for His glory. We don’t have to be afraid to listen intently. Our future walk with Him does not have to be like our past.

Faith Adventure: God Knows Best, by Cindy Christensen
Terry picked me up that night, at the usual time. It was snowing and sleeting, but we still had plenty of time to get there. I had the movie that we were going to show the girls, and some other volunteers were bringing extra food – crackers and meats and cheese and cookies. It was going to be a time of fun and good food.
What would you do if you came across someone who was in real trouble? Chances are you’d step in and get involved. You’d drop everything to help a frantic mom look for her lost daughter. You’d stand in the way to keep a bully from attacking someone weak. You’d stay with a car-crash victim and do your best to give first aid. It’s easy to forget that people who don’t know Jesus are in real trouble. Our lives are busy and full. We don’t always take the time to open our eyes and see the struggles, the pain, and the confusion of those around us. People are lost. We can help. We can introduce them to Jesus, the only One who can truly rescue them. Watch As They Pass By, a compelling reminder to open our eyes to the people around us.
1. Ask God to help you feel the way He feels about people who need Jesus.
2. Inspire your Christian friends by starting a conversation about As They Pass By. Paste the link into an email or post it on your social media page.

The 35-Day Challenge
What would your life look like if you could impact three people for Christ in the next 35 days? That is the question I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about over the past few weeks. For most of us, our faith is very personal and we find it difficult to talk about. We know that we are called to tell people about Jesus, but how do you even start that conversation? That’s what The 35 Day Challenge is all about.
This challenge will help you think about three people you would like to share Christ with. It will walk you through a process and give you tools and resources so that you can begin those conversations. Complete the challenge and you will impact three people’s lives in only five weeks. You can sign-up at http://35daychallenge.ca or by texting 35days to 289-799-3100.
